Huey delivers 19 Aug 09

After a long wait between decent waves on the Northern Beaches, Huey delivered in style. The wave god dished up perfect conditions for Sydney-siders for most of last week. If you managed to get some time off work or school, then you scored! Simple as that.

The shooters who were here in Sydney and not away in Bali (like me) nailed this week's shots from in and around our epic shores. Enjoy this collection of perfect fun, slabbing waves. Am I jealous? A little.

While the Northern Beaches fired, I did get to see and surf some epic waves in Indo, so stay tuned for another Blue Snapper update from my travels very soon.

No waves for the coming days, time to catch up on the work you missed last week.
The weather is cracking though, perfect days to get some warm sun on your pasty winter skin.

Arvo update: Extra wind push and storm kick, wind was offshore briefly now back onshore. Morning Report: Waves 2-3ft Swell SE @8 secs,winds S-SE 12-22 knots. Still waves but not pretty, directions SE with size around 2ft and occasional better set, winds steady onshore creating plenty of bump and chop, wet and cold but if your keen, enough breaking to keep you fit. S facing/open beaches much of a muchness, maybe marginally better protection in a S corner.

Strong wind warning for Thursday for Sydney Coastal Waters Winds: Southeasterly 20 to 25 knots increasing to 20 to 30 knots offshore in the early afternoon. Seas: 1 to 2 metres increasing to 2 to 3 metres offshore around midday. Swell: Southeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres. Weather: Isolated thunderstorms offshore.
